Sliding Ground

Practice Journal Entry: I’m exploring the liminal space between trap and trance, using the 808 as a melodic-rhythmic hybrid voice. The challenge is to make the sub-bass both a percussive foundation and a melodic lead, with supersaws creating a cascading harmonic tension that responds to and transforms the 808’s pitch envelope.
