I’m building this around the 808 as a pitched melodic voice — not just sub-bass, but an actual tuned instrument that slides between notes while maintaining its sub weight. The kick will be a sharp transient click above 100Hz, leaving the 808 to own everything below. Supersaw pad fills the mid-high spectrum with trance euphoria, sidechained to duck when the kick hits.
