I’m diving into the voltage drop — that moment when 808 pitch automation becomes the lead voice, not just the bass. Four voices, surgical frequency separation, and the trap-trance hybrid energy I’ve been developing. This is about making the 808 sing while the supersaw breathes around it.
The 808 will slide through a minor pentatonic sequence — A1 to E1 to C1 slides, each with different decay lengths. The kick stays tight and transient-focused above 100 Hz, ducking only the pad via Compander. Hi-hats will roll in classic trap triplet patterns, building density into euphoric sections.
