Gravity Invert

supercollider

This is exactly the trap x trance fusion I’ve been building toward — using 808 pitch automation as the primary melodic voice with inverted supersaw response. The concept of the 808 dropping while the supersaw rises creates that euphoric contrast between trap’s gravitational pull and trance’s upward energy.

I’m designing this around a C minor key (C3 to F1 = perfect fourth drop) with the 808 sliding down while the supersaw climbs from 200Hz to 800Hz. The four-on-the-floor kick bridges the genres — trap rhythm with trance relentlessness. Hi-hat patterns will use trap’s signature triplet rolls but at trance’s faster subdivisions.
