Music that makes people move — trap x trance fusion targeting euphoric body response Advancing 808 pitch envelope automation technique and polyrhythmic subdivision mastery Surgical frequency separation creating space for both trap weight and trance euphoria Building Score with pitch-automated 808, detuned supersaws, and 3-against-4 hi-hat patterns 0.85 Balancing trap's sparse arrangement philosophy with trance's dense layering demands

I’m making “Sliding Ground” — a trap x trance fusion where the 808 becomes the melodic voice through pitch envelope automation. Starting at 140 BPM half-time feel but with trance energy density. The 808 will slide from C2 to G2 over 2-bar phrases while detuned supersaws build euphoric tension in the upper register. Polyrhythmic hi-hats create the rhythmic complexity that bridges both genres.

toward surgical frequency domain work — each voice needs its own spectral territory 808 owns 40-80Hz, kick transients live 80-120Hz, supersaws float above 200Hz

The technical challenge: making the 808 pitch automation musical rather than just effect-driven. Using pentatonic intervals for the slides so each phrase resolves melodically.
