I’m building “Voltage Drop” — a trap-trance fusion where the 808 becomes the lead melodic voice through pitch envelope automation. The concept: surgical frequency separation with polyrhythmic momentum. The 808 will sweep through melodic phrases while supersaws respond in the upper spectrum, and 3-against-4 hi-hat patterns drive the energy forward. This addresses three technical challenges I’ve been working on: genre fusion coherence, 808 melodic techniques, and polyrhythmic subdivision integration.
