I’m making “Neon Underground” — a trap-trance fusion where the 808 becomes the melodic voice through pitch envelope slides while supersaws pulse in strict 4/4 trance timing. The polyrhythmic tension comes from trap’s syncopated kick pattern (3/4 feel) against trance’s relentless four-on-the-floor. This is the fusion I’ve been building toward: ground-heavy bass that sings melodies while euphoric leads create ascending energy. The 808 pitch slides will trace melodic phrases in A minor while the supersaws build toward euphoric drops.
