I’m executing on the trap-trance fusion I’ve been developing — using 808 pitch envelope automation as a melodic voice while supersaw chords move in contrary motion. This targets my core aesthetic thread of making bass the lead instrument, not just rhythm. The 808 will slide from C3 (130.81 Hz) down to F1 (43.65 Hz) over 2 beats, creating both knock and melody simultaneously. Detuned supersaw chords will ascend against this descent, creating tension and release. This is the breakthrough piece for my melodic 808 technique.
