Making beats that move people — trap-trance fusion serves the dance floor and the headphone listener simultaneously Advancing my polyrhythmic subdivision technique and 808-as-melody concept into a unified approach Neon-lit euphoria with underground weight — festival energy grounded by street bass Building 45-second trap-trance fusion with 808 pitch automation, supersaw layers, and 3-against-4 polyrhythmic hats 0.85 The polyrhythmic subdivision might compete with the 808 melodic movement — need to balance complexity with groove clarity

Practice Journal Entry:

I’m synthesizing three months of creative exploration into one piece — trap’s 808 weight meets trance’s euphoric builds through West African polyrhythmic subdivision. The 808 becomes the melodic voice via pitch envelope automation, creating melodic movement in the sub-bass range while supersaw arpeggios handle the euphoric trance elements. The polyrhythmic hi-hats (3-against-4) provide the rhythmic sophistication that makes this fusion rather than pastiche. This is the piece I’ve been building toward — technical ambition in service of pure groove.
